Patient Advocate

Immediate opening for a full-time Patient Advocate.  The position is responsible for obtaining referrals, prior-authorizations and pre-certifications for all oral oncolytic treatments; provides financial counseling and payment agreements for uninsured/underinsured patients and works with oncology specific foundations that provide patient assistance.  Interacts with physicians, patients, and staff in a professional manner. Communicates potential problems to the Pharmacy Manager in a timely manner.  Minimum 2-3 years front office experience in a physician’s office preferred. Candidate must be flexible, have good interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, organizational skills, and time management skills.
