Referral Authorization Specialist (Part-Time)

Immediate opening for a part-time Referral Authorization Specialist.  The position is responsible for ensuring that all patients have an active referral, and insurance prior authorization for scheduled office visits and lab testing.  The Referral Authorization Specialist consults with physicians to clarify orders as needed. Communicates appropriate information to manager, and office staff. Interacts with staff and patients in a professional manner. Candidate must be flexible and have good interpersonal skills.  Ability to multitask, and organizational and time management skills a must.
