Dr. Zheng is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science Neurobiology from Emory University, in 2014. He received his Doctor of Medicine in 2019 from the University of Queensland School of Medicine in Brisbane. His post doctorial training was conducted at the Hengsheng Hospital in China, and was followed with his Residency at the St. Elizabeths Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining NGOC, Dr. Zheng gained research experience at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, focusing on Retrospective studies characterizing the clinicopathology and treatment outcome of male breast cancer. The Ochsner Medical Centers Department of Nephrology, determining the prevalence of acute kidney injury in acetaminophen overdose patients and risk factors associated with developing acute kidney injury in these patients. At the University of Queensland’s Translational Research Institute, he gained knowledge in the Development of Immunotherapy for Type I Diabetes. At Emory University in Atlanta, the research focused was Gene Expression and preclinical biomarker for Alzheimer’s Disease. Dr. Zheng is credited with multiple presentations and has published an array of medical publications.
