Aswani Thurlapati, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician currently completing a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina’s Hollings Cancer Center—South Carolina’s only NCI-designated cancer center. Dr. Thurlapati is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care informed by the latest advancements in cancer research and treatment.

She earned her medical degree (MBBS) from NTR University of Health Sciences in India, followed by an internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health in Shreveport, where she graduated as a Clinician Educator. Her training has emphasized both compassionate patient care and academic excellence.

Dr. Thurlapati looks forward to continuing her commitment to comprehensive cancer care, clinical research, and multidisciplinary collaboration with patient-focused oncology care at NGOC’s Marietta Cancer Center.
