Senior Billing Specialist

The Billing Office has an immediate opening for a Senior Billing Specialist.  The position is responsible for auditing charges for coding accuracy, identifying missing charges and making any necessary corrections to CPT codes to ensure a clean, accurate claim.  Reviews various billing reports to verify charges are being captured appropriately.  Also responsible for handling the claim review/edit/do not bill work queues.  Billing and Coding Certification preferred but not required. A minimum of 2-3 yrs. experience in a healthcare setting. Candidates must possess solid communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Oncology and Epic experience a plus.  Candidates must have working knowledge of medical terminology.
